Hyaluronic acids of different sizes with different transcutaneous penetration capacity and action: 3D cross-linked hyaluronic acid (high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid with cross-links that make it more stable to enzymatic degradation):
creates a transparent 3D film with a tensor effect and is a form of deposition of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid on the skin surface
High molecular weight hyaluronic acid (>1000 kDaltons approx.): to retain water on the surface of the skin and make it smooth and protected;
Medium molecular weight hyaluronic acid (approx. 400-1000 kDaltons): retains water in the middle layers of the epidermis and strengthens the skin's barrier functions;
Low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid (approx. 50-300 kDaltons): retains water in the deep layers of the epidermis and supports its regeneration processes
Mini hyaluronic acid (or fragmented hyaluronic acid), with a very low molecular weight (under 10 kDaltons): with a very high penetration capacity, capable of promoting the regeneration processes of the deeper layers of the skin and stimulating the production of ‘new matter’ with a marked filling and plumping action.
